The Uniqueness of an Artist
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth and the earth was without form and void and darkness was upon the face of the deep. Before the handiwork of God was complete in the earth, the earth did not have any beauty. To me the void or emptiness of a blank canvas is waiting for the handiwork of an artist to begin creating something of beauty. Every artist has their own unique style that involves more than a brush stroke. It involves the artist vision, personality, culture and other fine points that make the creation one of a kind. What moves one artist in a certain direction is totally different from what moves another and even though subject matter may be the same, everything surrounding its creation is totally different.
